From your data to a signed-off report.
Zoru follows the path your data actually takes: bring it in, measure it, review and sign it off, report it, then reduce it.
Use what you already have. No re-typing.
Zoru reads the documents and spend your finance team already keeps, prices each line and shows you how. Anything unclear is held for you to check, never guessed.
- Bills, invoices and receiptsPDFs or photos (PNG or JPEG) up to 20 MB, read by AI and sent to you for review. Up to 8 files at a time from Import.

- Your own wordsDescribe an activity in English, French, German or Spanish, in the Scope 1 and 2 sections and Scope 3 categories 1 to 7.
- The APIKeys to read sites, entries and totals and send in calculated entries as drafts, with a published description for your developers.

Scope 1, 2 & 3, priced from published factors.
Scope 1 is what you burn directly, Scope 2 is the energy you buy and Scope 3 is everything in your supply chain. Zoru covers all three with official UK government factors and one UK spend database, and stores the factor and its source on entries from most data sections.
- Scope 1Fuels, vehicles and refrigerants.
- Scope 2Location-based, plus a market-based figure in your main report, including part-green tariffs and supplier-specific factors. SECR, ISO 14064-1 and GRI outputs show the location-based figure.
- Scope 3All 15 categories listed, each with a figure, a written reason or a flag that it's still to enter. Spend in other currencies is converted to pounds at an exchange rate you enter, with its source, before it's priced.
- Needs a factorAnything Zoru can't price yet is listed and kept out of your total. Record what's missing, and no figure changes until a reviewer approves a source.
- Data qualityA confidence level with reasons on every AI reading, checks for outliers, duplicates, missing months and year-on-year jumps on spreadsheet uploads, and an indicative range on the total.

Built for assurance, from the first entry.
Every entry your team adds starts as a draft: it counts in your totals, marked not yet reviewed, until someone approves it. The year can't be closed until every draft is reviewed, and changes to entries, sites, targets and team are kept in a tamper-evident history.
- Drafts until reviewedEvery entry your team adds starts as a draft and counts, marked not yet reviewed. Only review approves it, with an optional second reviewer.
- Year closeReview every draft on one screen before the year can close. Then a named admin approves numbered report versions that can't change.
- Evidence on every entryAttach the files behind each figure. Reports show evidence coverage by category.
- Tamper-evident historyChanges to entries, sites, targets and team are time-stamped. Admins can view and export them.
- Verifier accessGive an external verifier access for a set period to look through entries and totals, comment and sign off. They see whether evidence is linked, not the files.
- Base year and restatementRecord your base year. If a closed year is reopened and its figures change, Zoru logs the restatement automatically and flags it when the change is 5% or more.

Illustrative figures
Four reports from one data set, ready to approve.
Save, approve and print each one; SECR and ISO 14064-1 include the narrative you write. All are built on the GHG Protocol Corporate and Value Chain Standards, and open once you close your first year.
- SECRLive
The Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting disclosure for your annual report.
- ISO 14064-1Live
A greenhouse gas inventory report set out to the ISO 14064-1 structure.
- GRILive
A GRI content index for your emissions disclosures.
- CRPLive
A Carbon Reduction Plan to PPN 006 for any year, in your organisation's name (with your consultancy's name, and its logo once Zoru has added it, if a consultancy runs your account). PPN 006 took over from PPN 06/21 for procurements started from 24 February 2025.
- CSRD · ESRS E1Checklist
A readiness checklist showing what you still need for the climate standard. Zoru does not produce CSRD reports.
- CDPChecklist
A readiness checklist for a CDP climate response. Zoru does not submit to CDP.
A target, a plan and proof it's working.
One target, used everywhere
1.5°C targets calculated to the SBTi's published criteria. Well-below 2°C and 2°C pathways can be set but are not SBTi-aligned. Net zero only if you choose it. Validation itself is done by the SBTi.
AI action plans with owners
Each action shows its estimated saving and, where one can be estimated, a cost and payback. Give each one an owner; an action still in progress continues into next year in one click.
Estimated against measured
See estimated, reported and measured reductions side by side, with intensity per m², per member of staff and per unit of output for each site, and per £m turnover for the organisation.
Set up the way your organisation is.
Groups and subsidiaries
Link subsidiaries with their consent and produce one group report.
Divisions and sites
Organise by division and site, with intensity and ranking for each site.
Roles that fit
Limit editors to their own sites. Every role change is logged.
Which emission factors does Zoru use?
Official UK government (DESNZ) factors, matched to your reporting year wherever DESNZ publishes them year by year, plus one UK spend database for Scope 3. Sites in the UK, Pakistan and Türkiye use their national grid figure. For other countries, electricity read from bills or spreadsheets is held for review, and electricity typed in uses the UK figure, marked as provisional.
Does Zoru connect to Xero or our accounting software?
There are no accounting connectors. Upload your ledger exports or management accounts instead (CSV, Excel or ODS, up to 25 MB), or send entries in through the API.
Which AI does Zoru use?
Zoru uses Anthropic's Claude models with its own instructions. Zoru does not train AI models.
What if the AI reads something wrong?
Every reading carries a confidence level and the reasons for it while you review. Lines Zoru isn't sure about are held and kept out of your totals until someone reviews them. Everything else is saved as a draft: counted, and marked not yet reviewed until it's approved. Correct a line in an uploaded spreadsheet once and Zoru applies the same correction to rows described the same way.
Can our verifier see the data?
Yes. Give a verifier access for a set period. They can look through your entries and totals, see whether evidence is linked, comment and sign off. They can't open your evidence files.
See it with your own data.
Sign up and bring in your first bills, or talk to the team.
