The wordmark and the orbit
The logo is the word zoru with a green orbit ring around the final "o". The "o" is the planet; the ring is the measurement around it. The ring is the only colour in the logo and it stays exactly as supplied.
Reversed
White with the green orbit. Use on dark backgrounds and over photography with the dark overlay.
On photography
Always the reversed logo, always with the overlay, so the ring and letters stay clean.
Do
- Keep clear space of one "o" height on every side of the wordmark.
- Keep it at least 20px tall on screen and 25mm wide in print. Below that, use the icon.
- Scale from a corner. The wordmark is 5.27 : 1.
- Use the SVG or PDF for print, signage and partner materials.
Don't
- Recolour, remove or redraw the orbit ring.
- Place the logo on the green gradient, on mid greys, or on a photo without the overlay.
- Re-set "zoru" in another typeface or add a tagline inside the clear space.
- Add shadows, outlines, glows, rotation or stretching.
In writing, it is Zoru: capital N, the rest lowercase. Lowercase zoru appears only in the wordmark and the domain, zoru.earth. Partners are co-branded as "{Partner} - powered by Zoru", with the partner's logo in the primary slot and the Zoru wordmark small.
Green on space, green on white
One accent, the green pair. Two grounds: deep space for the story, white and off-white for the work. Everything else is a neutral or a status colour.
Zoru Green is identity, not status. It fails as small text on white (2.9 : 1), so ticks and positive figures use Success #2D8659. Dark text goes on the green button. The night-sky violet and blue on our homepage live in the background at a few per cent opacity and never on text or buttons.
IBM Plex Sans speaks, Inter explains
Headings are IBM Plex Sans, tight and confident. Body is Inter, quiet and legible. Both are free on Google Fonts.
Neither should your data.
Describe your activity in plain English. Zoru identifies the emission factor, calculates the footprint and logs the entry in seconds. Every figure is traceable back to its source.

The logo font
The wordmark is set in Marble Bold and supplied as outlines, so nobody needs the font to use the logo. Marble is for the wordmark only: headings, product names and partner names never use it.
Real forests, real offices
Photography grounds the product in the world it measures and shows the people who do the work. Nothing symbolic, nothing staged.
Atmospheric landscape
Aerial, misty, desaturated. Full-width with the dark overlay and one line of white type.

Light through the canopy
Saturated greens and sun flare. The optimistic register: plans, targets, the "after".

Texture close-up
Deep greens with strong shapes. Fills a card or sits behind a figure, never the whole hero.
People doing the work
Natural light, real desks, candid moments at a screen. No models in hard hats, no AI faces.
Just tell us. We'll do the maths.
Short sentences, a promise, no adjectives.Supplier outreach, on autopilot.
Concrete feature, concrete benefit. Most carbon software was built for consultants. Zoru is built for the people doing the work.
The positioning line.Plain, direct, checkable
- British English, sentence case, second person.
- Explain a term the first time it appears. "Scope 3" and "tCO₂e" both get a gloss.
- Every number has a source and a year. "DEFRA 2026 factors", not "the latest factors".
- Only claim what the product does today.
House style
- "Scope 1, 2 & 3" in headlines, "Scope 1, 2 and 3" in sentences.
- Buttons name the outcome: "Get started", "Send to suppliers".
- No "leverage", "seamless", "unlock" or "journey".
- Zoru is a trading name of NOISSIME LTD; the legal name appears only in legal copy.
